Volunteer Fair Setted Up At Micronesia Mall

A volunteer fair  that was organized by the Guam’s Rotary Club and Pacific Daily News to inform members of the public about the volunteer opportunities prevailed on the island was successfully ended.

This fair was greatly helpful for non-profit organizations to recruit volunteers for upcoming events.

The event was held on April 24th Sunday from 1.00 to 4.00pm in the center court of the Micronesia Mall in Dededo.

Organizations like American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Autism Community Together, The Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteer Association, Island Girl Power and PDN’s VIBE were present on that day. Moreover there were also opportunities for high school students to take up journalism internships.

Representatives from respective organizations had booths setted up at the Micronesia Mall’s Center Court with relevant information about the organization.
