Satellite desks open for last-minute filers – The Guam Daily Post

The Department of Revenue and Taxation announced the opening of two satellite locations for residents to file taxes on the last two days to do so – on April 16 and 17.

The satellite locations will be at the center courts of the Micronesia Mall in Dededo and the Agana Shopping Center in Hagåtña.

The satellite desks will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Extension forms will be available for those who need them. The department notes that filing an extension form does not extend the payment deadline. Those who owe taxes may be penalized if their payments are not made by the April 17 due date.

Taxpayers who are making payments can visit any of the Treasurer of Guam locations: Department of Revenue and Taxation in Barrigada; Department of Administration, Treasurer of Guam on the first floor of the ITC building in Tamuning; and Department of Public Works at the One Stop Center in Upper Tumon.

The department also will have its drop box available near the front entrance for those who wish to file after 5 p.m. Any forms dropped after midnight will be considered filed after the due date.

Taxpayers planning to mail their returns or payments must ensure forms are postmarked by April 17. All payments must be written to “Treasurer of Guam.”
