Roil Soil to host ‘Beerlympics’

ROIL SOIL Clothing Co. founder Shayne Villanueva plans to celebrate his birthday in festive style this coming weekend as he invites the public to participate in the CNMI’s first “Olympics of Beer Games.”

On Saturday, July 29, Naked Fishbar and restaurant shall serve as the “coliseum” for the aptly titled “Beerlympics.”

Villanueva is calling upon teams of four to five membersto compete for the grand prize of $500 in cash.

Participating teams will compete in a timed obstacle course comprised of popular beer themed party games like beer pong, quarters and “frisbeer” to name a few.

In addition to the Beerlympics, the event will feature a Chef competition for $250 in cash, live music from local band Uprooted CNMI and an ongoing raffle throughout the duration.

Doors openat 11:30 a.m., while the Chef competition is set to begin at 12 p.m. and run until 2 p.m.

The Beerlympics kickoff at 1 p.m.

The entry fee to compete in the Beerlympics is $50 per team.

Villanueva, who is also well known for serving as special advisor to the 4×4 HOLICS off-road enthusiasts association, reminds that the event is supporting a good cause. All proceeds are going to Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance or MINA.
