A FORMER VIP hostess has dismissed without prejudice the discrimination lawsuit she filed against Imperial Pacific International.
Rovie Anne Chopitea, who is represented by attorney Daniel Guidotti, filed the notice of dismissal in the District Court for the NMI on Monday.
On Dec. 13, 2017 designated Judge Susan Oki Mollway referred the case to Magistrate Judge Heather Kennedy for non-dispositive matters after the parties reached a settlement.
In her lawsuit filed in Oct. 2017, Chopitea said she had not been given her promised promotion and pay raise. She also accused her former employer of retaliating against her for complaining to the U.S. Equal Employment opportunity Commission.
IPI denied her allegations.
