AFTER 12 days of being “homeless,” the Kagman Community Health Center returned to its facility on Saturday. A memorandum of understanding between Gov. Ralph D.L.G. Torres and KCHC board chair Velma Palacios was signed Friday at 9 p.m. The memorandum allows KCHC to operate at the facility.
At 9 a.m. on Saturday, Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.-Public Health Emergency Prepareness director Warren Villagomez turned over the keys to the facility to KCHC chief executive officer Vince Castro. “It went through the right process,” the governor said. The Department of Public Lands designated the property to the governor’s office which then signed an MOU with KCHC. Castro said KCHC will re-open the facility starting Monday.
