(CPA) — This is to inform the general public that the Commonwealth Ports Authority will be reinstating the charges for the parking booth located at the Francisco C. Ada/ Saipan International Airport. The parking booth will resume operations on Jan. 1, 2019.
The system dispenses a plastic card upon entry and the card is returned when exiting. The system reads the elapsed time between entry and exit and indicates the appropriate charge. A fee of $2 will be charged for the first hour or fraction thereof and an additional $2 for each additional hour or fraction of an hour.
The total charge for each 24-hour period is $15. For each additional hour or fraction of an hour, an additional $2 will be charged.
A customer who loses a parking card will be charged $15 for the lost card and will also be charged the appropriate parking fee for the time parked. The customer with the lost parking card may be required to park on the side to allow other customers to exit first and then give time for the parking booth attendant to check the system to resolve the matter.
A customer with a valid Handicap Placard will not be charged any parking fee as long as the person who was issued the placard is present in the vehicle. All customers with a valid Handicap Placard should contact the accounting office at 237-6508.
All parking fees are non-refundable. If you have any questions, please feel free to call CPA’s main office at 237-6500.
