Inauguration Committee presents #MarianasStrong Concert dedicated to ongoing recovery efforts

(Press Release) — Gov. Ralph Deleon Guerrero Torres and Lt. Gov-elect Arnold Indalecio Palacios, through the 2019 Inauguration Committee, presents the #MarianasStrong Concert.

The concert will be held at the Marianas Business Plaza on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“We invite the entire community to join us for this fun-filled night of music and comedy from the Marianas’ best entertainers and comedians. We ask the community to please bring their own beach chairs.�

Free concert entrance for all ages featuring some of the best local talents from the CNMI and Guam, including Mix Plate, Joe McCarrel, Uprooted, Parker Yobei, JJ Concepcion, Big Jay Selepeo, Young Gohhdy, FriendZone, DJ Big Ken and 9PM DJS. There will also be a special comedy performance by local talent Chinaman.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase by local vendors such as 360 Restaurant, Gentlebrook, 22RAM, The Hut, Tony Romas, Sierra Pearl Shakes, and AE Ice Cream Rolls. Attendees must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.

The event will also be featuring a boothing area dedicated to ongoing relief efforts providing information, supplies and resources with some of our local partners, such as Karidat, Empty Vessel Ministries, the Marianas Young Professionals and more, who have played vital roles during recovery.

In partnership, Tribe Marianas and Roil Soil will be selling the commemorative inauguration version of the #MarianasStrong shirts, which will be available for purchase at their booth.

Karidat in collaboration with the Marianas Visitors Authority will also be selling their edition of the #MarianasStrong shirts, in which all proceeds raised will go towards Karidat’s Yutu recovery efforts.

To end off the night, there will be a special fireworks show beginning at 9:30 p.m.

As the inauguration festivities continuing to dedicate their work with full recovery and a stronger Marianas in mind, all proceeds raised at the concert will go towards the ongoing Yutu recovery and relief efforts.
