(DPS) — The Department of Public Safety, as well as the Crime Stoppers team, is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a home invasion case on Rota.
On Nov. 2, 2018, Rota police officers responded to a theft complaint at a farm residence in Pali’i. According to the elderly homeowners, they left the island on Oct. 17, 2018, and returned to find their home had been broken into. Jewelry, personal items, money, and a firearm were stolen from the home. The total loss for the couple was $15,000. Currently there are no leads in the case.
